Amy SeebothTransportation Planning Program Manager |
Amy arrived at SWWRPC in August of 2008 after completing her Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from UW-Madison. During her studies, she researched the extent and use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) among Wisconsin municipal governments and also worked for the UW-Extension Center for Community and Economic Development facilitating the creation of downtown revitalization plans. Prior to taking up planning, and after completing her B.A. in Anthropology at Lawrence University, Amy spent a couple of years working on a diversified organic farm and for a food security program in the Maine Department of Agriculture. Having grown up in a small town in Southeast Wisconsin, the special concerns of rural communities have always been near and dear to her. She is excited to have found a career where she engages in these issues each and every day.
