Economic Flood Recovery Strategy
This Economic Flood Recovery Strategy was created by Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SWWRPC), in partnership with the U.S Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The purpose of the Strategy is to generate economic recovery for flooded communities, while working to continuously promote predisaster mitigation strategies designed to build resistant businesses and jobs in disaster-prone communities.

Business Resources Project
With U.S. Economic Development Administration funding assistance, this project is part of an economic development strategy to help entrepreneurs start businesses and to help existing businesses grow.
Economic Development Administration (EDA) District
As a designated EDA Economic Development District, the Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission serves as the liaison for communities in the region to the U.S. EDA.

We provide census and other data to businesses, individuals, governing bodies and non-profit organizations.
