2006 Coordinated Planning Efforts
The planning-to-plan process provided an opportunity to discuss issues within a regional context and an opportunity for participants to listen to each other and learn from one another. At the five-county workshop, they identified strengths, needs, and barriers related to providing passenger transportation services at the local and regional level. This workshop informed the Regional Transit Services Plan and identified ways to improve coordination.
The group continues to meet on a regular basis and annually assess and update the Plans. The County Plans include the Regional Plan.
