Cory previously served on the Shullsburg City Council, was the Executive Director of Advance Shullsburg, Inc., runs his own consultancy firm and is a freelance writer, photographer and researcher. He has grown several businesses in his career and brings an entrepreneurial spirit to the organization.

Cory is an avid writer with over 50 published works, is a popular public presenter, and a local historian. Cory is known around the region as a versatile professional able to work across multiple disciplines. In his free time, he enjoys Midwest travel, baseball, botany and the arts. He lives with his wife and two boys in Shullsburg, WI.
