Southwest Transit Team (SWTT)
Now hiring volunteer drivers!
Southwest Transit Team (SWTT) is looking for volunteers interested in meeting and connecting with new people in our 5-county region. Volunteers will submit applications to either an Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) or SWCAP Leadership through Innovative Flexible Transportation (LIFT) program. Our volunteer drivers transport seniors and adults with disabilities to medical appointments, pharmacies, and other destinations.
Drivers must be over 18 years old. Other requirements include a valid driver's license, background check, a good driving record, and proof of insurance. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity, you tell us when you are available. Drivers are reimbursed for their mileage.
Interested individuals should call Kristina at SWWRPC at 608-348-5055, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact your organization of interest at the number provided below.
SWTT is a collaboration of transit providers in Southwestern Wisconsin. The group meets every other month to share ideas and insights into transit provision in the region.
